Kübra Fırat is currently a doctoral student in the School of Education, University of Nottingham. She earned her master’s degree in Early Years Education after studying at UCL Institute of Education in 2016. She received her bachelor’s degree in Preschool Education from Boğaziçi University in 2014. Her PhD research is about early years children’s literacy learning process under the statutory early years assessment of England. Her research interests include emergent literacy, assessment in the early years, and parent involvement in early years children’s learning.
