Dr. Murat Akpinar earned his PhD at Turku School of Economics in Finland, his master degree at Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in Norway, and his bachelor degree at Bosphorus University in Turkey. He works at JAMK University of Applied Sciences in Finland. He teaches the courses of strategic management, and microeconomics of competitiveness: firms, clusters and economic development. His main research interests lie in competitiveness and strategy. He is a member of Michael Porter’s Microeconomics of Competitiveness (MOC) network at Harvard Business School.
